Dos and Don’ts of Choosing Ceiling Colors

Just like interior home surfaces, painted ceilings go the extra mile to make an interior surface look finished. If you desire to alter the color in a room, you would have to change the color of the ceiling as well. Highlighted below are some tips for ensuring you get the ceilings painted right: DO; paint your bathroom ceiling the same color as the walls. If tiles in your bathroom stretch up to the ceiling, you will lose the color towards that end of the bathroom, as it tiles all through. Just proceed into the ceiling with a particular wall color and it would tie that bathroom side with the color. DO NOT; paint any other color on heavily stippled ceilings but white or cream.  There are some exceptions to this like high vaulted ceilings that would draw the eye to the ceiling, which is not desired for such heavy texture.
